Microneedling
Microneedling creates millions of controlled microchannels in the skin that initiate the healing process. When the skin is healing itself collagen and elastin production encourages the release of growth factors that recruit and increase reparative cells. The result is a cascade of healing processes that can continue for months following your treatment.
Hair Restoration
PRP has been used in orthopedics for decades and more recently has been used for aesthetic purposes in the scalp. PRP has been shown, in unscientific observations, to have overall rejuvenating effects on the scalp as in strengthening existing hair follicles. Results are generally visible at three weeks and continue to improve gradually over the next three to six months. Once results are achieved yearly maintenance treatments may be required to maintain satisfaction.
Neurotoxins (Botox or Dysport)
Neurotoxins are injected into the muscles to temporarily block the messages between the muscle and the nerves that control them. Neurotoxins can relax the muscles on the areas of the face and neck which cause wrinkles associated with facial expressions or facial pain. Neurotoxins are indicated to temporarily soften facial rhytids (wrinkles) between the eyebrows, forehead, and around the eyes.
Filler
Treatment with dermal fillers can smooth out facial folds and wrinkles, add volume to the lips, and contour facial features that have lost volume and fullness due to aging, sun exposure, illness, etc. Facial features that can be enhanced by dermal fillers include lips, cheeks, peri-oral region, jawline, and under the eyes (tear troughs). Dermal fillers help to provide a more youthful, rested appearance.
PRP
Platelet Rich Plasma, PRP is concentrated with platelets from your own blood. Platelets are a naturally occurring cell in your blood that plays an essential role in clotting. As a concentrated source of autologous platelets, PRP contains several growth factors and other cytokines that stimulate healing of bone and soft tissue. PRP has been used in orthopedics for decades and more recently has been used for aesthetic purposes. Generally, 4 treatments are advised, however, more may be indicated for some individuals.
Colagen Replacement
Sculptra is a synthetic, biocompatible material that is injected below the surface of the skin. It is made up of microspheres of poly-L-lactic acid. Sculptra is now approved for cosmetic use. Sculptra helps to improve the appearance of facial fat loss by increasing skin thickness in the treated area. Sculptra is a collagen stimulator that absorbs into your body a few days after treatment and encourages your cells to produce MORE collagen. Collagen is a protein in your skin that provides structure, support, and strength. Collagen production over time will give you a more youthful appearance.
