Neurotoxins (Botox/Dysport)
Neurotoxins are injected into the muscles to temporarily block the messages between the muscle and the nerves that control them. Neurotoxins can relax the muscles on the areas of the face and neck which cause wrinkles associated with facial expressions or facial pain. The effects become apparent in 3-14 days and generally last 3-4 months. With repeated treatments, the results may tend to last longer. Neurotoxins are indicated to temporarily soften facial rhytids (wrinkles) between the eyebrows, forehead, and around the eyes.

What to expect from neurotoxins
The effects of treatment can be seen around day 7, with maximum effect at day 14. Treatment will last 3-4 months dependent on amount of product used, frequency of treatments, age, sex, general health, metabolic rate, lifestyle, and sun exposure.
